Household Financial Index
Assessed Household income based on Property Valuation and adjusted for number of earners, demographic ages, minimum wages, etc. The Household Financial Index (HFI) aims to capture the financial information regarding households in South Africa. The HFI uses the Property Valuation Estimated Price from the Riskscape Property Valuations (AVM) to derive and aggregate an initial household income estimate for the formal market. These income estimates are adjusted for a series of factors including: Property Size, Age of Owner(s), Property Type, and Subplace Type.
